Bascove is a New York City artist, author and culture writer who has exhibited, lectured and arranged events with the Museum of the City of New York, the Arsenal in Central Park, the Central Park Conservancy, Municipal Art Society, New York University Fales Library and Hudson River Museum. She is especially well known for her iconic paintings of NYC bridges and her works are in collections, both public and private, throughout the United States. During the summer and fall of 2020, five of her NYC bridge paintings were chosen to be part of the ArtOnLink kiosk public installation project that displayed her work in more than 1,600 locations throughout New York City.

Stay Thirsty Magazine is proud to highlight this unique intersection between art and government and to showcase Bascove's bridges. To make art so accessible and able to be appreciated by people on the go is a powerful use of public space.
