The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), located in the upstate New York town of Saratoga Springs, presents one of America’s greatest Summer Festivals. Dedicated in 1966 by Governor Nelson Rockefeller, the Center is a 2,400-acre park surrounded by hiking trails, geysers, natural mineral springs and has four venues: The Amphitheater, The Spa Little Theatre, The Charles R. Wood Gazebo Stage and The Jazz Bar. The Amphitheater has 5,200 sheltered seats and a lawn-seating capacity for 20,000 more concertgoers. SPAC draws vacation crowds and arts connoisseurs alike for performances by resident companies that include The New York City Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival, Opera Saratoga and concerts presented by Live Nation.

Stay Thirsty Magazine is proud to present this Special Section featuring a few of the extraordinary performers who will visit SPAC during the Summer of 2018 and two of the people responsible for making Summer in Saratoga such a rich cultural experience.
